Product Design for Consumer Finance Protection Bureau

As a Product Strategist, I developed impactful financial empowerment tools tailored for economically vulnerable populations supported by the Community Affairs Office of the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB). I orchestrated the design of a comprehensive booklet projected to reach an extensive audience of over 150,000 individuals through collaboration with social workers, counselors, and financial coaches. My role encompassed designing agendas and materials for co-creation sessions with client stakeholders, refining prototypes of tools for financial empowerment, and overseeing the design of testing and feedback sessions for iterative improvements to the financial empowerment tools. This multifaceted approach ensured the effective creation and refinement of resources to empower and uplift the targeted communities.

Brand Identity for Recording Artist, OWO

In partnership with OWO, a prominent Afro-pop artist, and her dedicated management team, I developed and facilitated comprehensive branding sessions aimed at refining the artist's image and style. Post these sessions, I crafted a meticulous 2-page brand document for OWO to leverage as a concise and impactful resource. This document is specifically designed to be shared with her internal team, collaborative partners, press, and media outlets, effectively communicating the refined essence of OWO's brand and artistic identity on and off stage.

Rebrand Strategy and Activation for Malikah

Guided Malikah (formerly IM WISE) through a transformative journey involving a name change and rebranding initiative, leveraging human-centered design research methods. Orchestrated project management and coordination, overseeing plans, design deliverables, and relaunch activities. Conducted in-depth user interviews with internal and external stakeholders to unearth the inherent strengths of the previous brand within their community. Applied data-driven insights to shape a comprehensive brand strategy. Established connections with creative talent and implemented processes for adopting and managing new brand assets. Spearheaded the artistic vision for relaunch events across major cities, including NYC, Boston, Dallas, and San Francisco.
